Paul Macdonald

Paul Macdonald - Long time North Shore soccer volunteer passed away June 22, 2017

Paul was a long time coach / member of the North Shore Girls Soccer Club. After coaching with the NSGSC, Paul served many years on the NSYSA District Soccer Board as District representative to the BC Coastal Girls League. With the BCCGSL Paul was in charge of scheduling and discipline.

Paul owned a printing business in North Vancouver and donated many hours of business time and services to the North Shore soccer community.

A lover of golf, soccer, winters in Mexico, and rock and roll, Paul will be missed by all of us. NS News obituary

NS Girls vs Cameroon

NS Girls vs Cameroon - Sunday, May 17th on Windsor Turf field at 4:00pm.

The North Shore Girls SC are taking on the Cameroon National Team on Sunday, May 17th on Windsor Turf field at 4:00pm.  Game proceeds are being used to raise funds for the Cameroon National Team to help their stay in Canada be an unforgettable one.

This should be a great game and it's really close to home, come and watch the excitement!

Riptide - Cup Champions

NVFC U13 Silver 1 Riptide - Commonwealth Champions!

Congratulations to the NVFC U13 Silver 1 Riptide who capped off a great soccer season by winning the Commonwealth Cup at Burnaby Lake West on March 8th. Well done!

Peter Shrimpton wins BCSA Award of Merit

Peter Shrimpton was recognized by B.C. Soccer last month with their annual Award of Merit.

Whistler's own Peter Shrimpton was recognized by B.C. Soccer last month with their annual Award of Merit, and was presented with the award at the Vancouver Whitecaps vs. New England Revolution game in Vancouver this past Saturday, June 15.

WVSC Boys U17 Spuraways are BC Soccer Provincial B-Cup Champions!

Congratulations to the WVSC Boys U17 Spuraways - Provincial B-Cup Champions! The Spuraways dominated the U17 championships, going undefeated in four games which included their defeat of Lakehill from Vancouver Island 3-0 in Sundays final game.

WVSC Boys U17 Spuraways are Coastal B-Cup Champions!

Congratulations to the WVSC Boys U17 Spuraways - Winners of the Coastal B-Cup! The Spuraways had an incredible year, finishing as League winners, somehow they did not win the Pioneer Cup but two out of three ain't bad. Good luck in the Provincials! Here they are picture with the Coastal Cup.

NVFC U18 Fury Coastal B-Cup Champs

Boys NVFC U18 Fury are Coastal B-Cup Champions! The Fury capped a very successful year that also saw them win the 4-District Pioneer Cup. Wow, what a year!

Congratulations to the NVFC Boys U18 Fury - Winners of the Coastal B-Cup! Good luck in the Provincials!
