Field Scheduler & Operations Manager
North Shore Youth Soccer is seeking applicants for two paid positions: Field Scheduler & Operations Manager. Both positions are part-time.
The NSYSA plays a vital role in governing and administering youth soccer for the North Shore District, which comprises the Sunshine Coast, Pemberton, Whistler, Squamish, North Vancouver, West Vancouver and Bowen Island, We are a non profit organization consisting of a volunteer board and paid staff. Our primary role is to foster, develop and administer the game of soccer for our membership within the North Shore District. We enable over 8,800 players to playsoccer every year.

Referee Important CRA Information
|
In
order to comply with CRA regulations, all referees must supply NSYSA with
their SIN number and birthdate in order to be scheduled to referee and receive
payment. A referee cannot be scheduled a game until the required
information is received. If a referee’s annual remuneration is greater than
$500, the NSYSA will issue a T4A slip by the end of February each year
reporting the remuneration received in the prior calendar year. There
will be no income or other taxes withheld from any referee payments.

Referees under the age of 15: Under
the BC Employment Standards Act (Part 2, Section 9), any persons under
the age of 12 may not be employed without a permit first being obtained
from the Director of the Employment Standards Branch. Due to this new
restriction, NSYSA is unable to hire referees until they are 12 years
of age.
In addition, any referees between the ages of 12 and 15
must have a signed Parental Consent form on file with NSYSA prior to
being permitted to referee any games. If this applies to your child

Welcome to the North Shore Youth Soccer Association - (NSYSA).
The NSYSA is an affiliate member District of the British Columbia Soccer Association (BCSA). Physically the North Shore Soccer District consists of the City and District of North Vancouver, the Municipality of West Vancouver and extends north and west to include the Municipalities of Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, the Sechelt Peninsula and any municipalities therein.
The NSYSA administers the game of soccer for youth (boys and girls under eighteen years of age) within the North Shore Soccer District. Our members include Bowen Island, North Shore Girls, North Vancouver Boys, Pemberton, Squamish, Sunshine Coast, West Vancouver, and Whistler soccer Clubs.
The NSYSA supports and promotes our Canadian Soccer Association's Long Term Player Development model and Player Pathway recommendations. To learn more about how the LTPD gives all players the best chance of success in soccer by tailoring training, competition and coaching to their needs at the appropriate stage of development, please click on these logos.
